PCT Automotive are fully committed to research and development, investing in new technology and production methods using state of the art towbar test equipment with Bespoke PCT Automotive dynamic test software and the latest computer aided design (CAD) systems.

All electrical components designed and manufactured by PCT Automotive meet the Type Approval Legislation 95/54/EC Electromagnetic Compatibility which states:

With effect from 1st October 2002, all active electrical components sold in the aftermarket and fitted to light passenger (M1) vehicles manufactured on or after 1st January 1996, where the vehicle has been issued with a European Whole Vehicle Type Approval Certificate, must comply to directive 95/54/EC. This includes towbar electrics, failure to comply with these regulations results in breaking the law.

All towbars are manufactured to meet the strict European Type Approval Legislation 94/20/EC (where applicable), they are made from certified British steel and come with a phosphate chemical pre-treatment, powder coated finish to enhance both durability and looks when fitted.
